Information about our class

Registration to the classes is FREE.

  • Please note that all NDIS Participant attending 3hr x Cooking Classes - $150.00 per class -

  • To be claimed from CORE - ITEM CODE:  04_102_0136_6_1; Group Activities - Standard - Weekday Daytime - $50.00 per hour.  

  • Invoiced to their Plan Manager after attended class.

  • Bookings NEED to be made by Support Coordinator.

  • Confirmation needs to be made about availability of NDIS funding before joining the classes.  

  • 48hrs prior notice to cancelling classes, or Late Notice Cancellation charges will apply. 

  • Clients NEED to be accompanied by a Support Worker when attending the classes.

  • Support Coordinator to confirm clients have adequate CORE Funding to cover cost of class, prior to making any bookings.

  • Support Coordinator to confirm when booking if Participants Kitchen Support needs if LOW or HIGH.  

  • Tuesday Cooking Lessons for HIGH Kitchen Support needs Participant Bookings.

  • Friday Cooking Lessons for LOW Kitchen Support needs Participant Bookings.

  • NDIS Participants are required to be accompanied and supported by their NDIS Support Workers for the duration of the Cooking Class - NO CHARGE for Support Workers.

  • Arrival 10mins prior to start time would be appreciated for Classes:

  • Tuesdays : from 11.30pm - 2.30pm  

  • Wednesdays: from 1.00pm - 4.00pm

  • Fridays: from 11.30am - 2.30pm 

  • Small Classes 4 Clients, Hands on cooking, including Ingredients, Time Frames, Food Preparation, Cooking, Eating with the Group Class & take home leftovers.  Recipes to take home of cooked items in Class for Home usage. 

  • Having Fun in the Kitchen, Learning New skills, Social Skills in a Group Environment, Communicating Skills, Learning Life Skills.

  • Sharing the love for food, Cooking & Eating Healthy affordable everyday meals easy to cook in own Homes.

  • Achievement Certificates provided once obtain cooking goals, Incentive Merchandise gifted once certain goals have been obtained. 

  • Copies of Recipes provided to clients to take home to practise in own home cooking healthy food with supports if required.

  • Clients must be ambient (no walkers or wheelchair access in facility, at this stage)

  • Consent forms will be provided at class for clients & Support Workers, for any photos taken in classes 

  • Support Coordinator / Support Worker to provide when making bookings: Full Name, NDIS Number, full contact details of Plan Managers for billing purposes.

  • Client emergency contact details - Name, Phone Number, Relationship to Participant, Client's contact phone number
